For example, have a different design for the Christmas season and a different one for the 4th of July. Along with the homepage showcase functionality, you have tremendous flexibility in determining the look and feel of your eStore front and can have a new store anytime you want.

Shifting between designs is super easy. Just choose the template, click a button and in seconds, you have a new store.

The Header image for all the designs in your Fluent-Ecommerce can be changed by just the click of a button whenever it is required.

Have a styledifferent header image for each section or department of your store --designed to have the look and feel of that respective department

The top navigation displays on the top of the page on the header of your eStore. By default, these are information pages for quick access.
You can create new links and manage the top navigation links as you want. This is super easy; just name the link and click submits. A page will be automatically created for this link and the link will automatically display on the top navigation.

The administrative panel automatically creates pages for the links defined by you and also enables you to add the necessary content.

The links that are not required can either be deactivated or can be activated whenever required or permanently deleted

This is an interesting, powerful feature to give your Shopping cart the direction you desire.

The home page showcases lies just below the header on the home page only covering the entire width of the browser. Under the showcase you will find the content and the navigation of the store.

You can use any of the following three options for the homepage showcase.

a) Dynamically Rotating Images - Insert unlimited images, meaning that for every refresh of the page of your store, a new image will display on the home page. These images can be advertisements or product promotions. This will mean that every time a visitor enters your site, he will see a different top banner image on the home page.

b) Flash Promo - You have the option of displaying a flash movie on the home page under the header. Just browse and upload the flash movie in the administrative panel and hit submit. In seconds the flash movie will display on the home page.

c) Best Seller - Assign any product as a bestseller and showcase it on the home page. In this case, the products details, 360 degree view, the Review and add to cart buttons automatically appear on the product image and will display on the home page showcase. You can use this for promoting any product in your store. This product can be changed daily or weekly or monthly as needed.

Note that because of the ease of implementing all of the above modalities and functions, you can switch between the three modes as required by just a click of a button.

Change the links on the footer and arrange it as desired. This will include the copyright or the webmaster information and quick access links.

You also have the option of changing the color of the footer

Create Pages - This panel enables you to create an unlimited number of pages and the links for the pages are automatically displayed on the left navigation.

This panel is for your company/store information pages. For example - About Us, Privacy policy, Customer support, etc.

Arrange Order - You can arrange the order of the links in the navigation panel depending on priority or in any way you want them displayed on the page

There are preset layout templates in the Shopping cart software. Just select the desired template and hit submit to assign the selected template to the information page. Most of the common page layouts are already inserted as templates along with the functionality to add the desired text and images.

Alternatively you could also create your own Shopping cart template by defining the no. of paragraphs and the no. of images to be inserted in the page.

This feature enables you to divide the information page links to be either on top of the product links or below them.

For example, you might want to have About Us, Services, etc on top of the navigation above the product links and you might want to have customer support, contact us etc below the product navigation.

Easily implemented by just selecting the link and clicking the Up or Down buttons and the changes automatically display on the live site after refreshing it

The left panel is right below the left navigation and the right panel is on the right side of the page.

You can define the modules that need to display in these panels.

Dynamic user defined modules can also be created and placed in either the left or the right navigation panels

Featured products - this is a dynamic module and the title and placement can be changed anytime.

You can assign some of the products to be displayed in the featured section. These will display with the product image, the retail price (slashed), the sale price and the add to Shopping cart button. Clicking on this will lead the visitor to the product detail page.

You can display this module on the left or the right panel and arrange the display order with regard to the other modules in the panels.

Bestsellers - This module is database driven and displays the actual best selling products of your Shopping cart. The module crawl the database and the order history, tracks the best selling items and then displays the top three items in the module.

This module works for the best sellers of the entire store, or it can be category specific and display bestsellers for the individual categories on their respective pages.

The top three best sellers are displayed in this module with the product image, the retail price (shown as slashed), the sale price and the add to cart button. Clicking on this will lead to the product detail page.

You can also manipulate the values and define the products to be shown in the best sellers.

For example, if products A, B and C have sold 1000, 800 and 750 pieces and these are the actual best sellers on your Shopping cart, all the three will display in the bestseller module.

Now, if you want to promote product D and want it to display in the best seller module, you can do so by assigning a value of 1200 for D. This will not interfere with the actual sales value of product D in the database, but the manipulated sale value will result in the display on product D as the first product in the best seller module.

Most viewed products - Similar in functionality to Best sellers; value manipulation included.

Shopping cart display - This module shows the total number of products present in the shopping cart at any moment of time along with the total cost of all the products in the cart.

News and Press releases - This is a dynamic news scroll panel and unlimited news clippings can be displayed in this panel.

This can also be used for announcements, special offers, Product releases, product promotions etc.

All the clippings are inserted through the administrative panel and are displayed in rotation on the pages.

My recently viewed products - This module is driven by user activity and is relative to the particular habits of individual users.

For example, when person A visits your site and browses through 20 products. The last 10 products that he or she browsed through will be displayed in the "My recently viewed products" module. This will be visitor specific meaning that 1000 visitors to the site at the same time will have their respective recently viewed products.

All item codes and prices of products recently viewed by a visitor will be displayed in this panel. This module is a quick access listing of all the recently viewed products by the respective visitor.

Dynamic user defined modules - Apart from the above, the webmaster will also have the ability to define and generate other dynamic modules for advertisements or other information and place them wherever required within the left and right panels.

For example. If you want to display a 100% guarantee image under the left navigation and have it link to the guarantee statement page, it can be easily done by just defining the name of the module, inserting the image and specifying an internal URL or an external one.

Then you can place this module either in the right or left panel of your Shopping cart and also arrange the order of display with reference to the other modules in the respective panel.

Full control functionalities with the Left and right panels

Activate or deactivate individual modules - If you don`t want to display the most viewed products module or the bestsellers or the news module...so be it - Just deactivate it.

Define module placement - either left or right panel

Arrange order of display - For example, .in the right panel, show the shopping cart on top, then the featured products and then the bestsellers. On the left panel, show the most viewed products and the news and the My recently viewed.

Category specific display of the right panel - For some categories, you would not want to display the right panel, but for some other categories, you might want to display the featured items and the best sellers for that respective category. No problem! - Just activate the ones that are desired and deactivate the others

This feature makes the Fluent-Ecommerce a fully customizable Shopping cart software system because of the flexibility and scalability it offers.

Create unlimited main categories, sub departments and tertiary departments and all these will display automatically on the navigation structure in a neat and functional rollover drop down structure making the navigation on your site very simple and easy to use.

Rolling over the main category with your mouse will display the sub categories and rolling over the sub categories will display the tertiary categories.

This structure eliminates unnecessary click and ensures that visitor can get into the desired section of the store with just a single click.

In addition, the arrange link order functionality enables you to define your navigation structure exactly as you want.

You can also modify the design of the buttons in just 2 seconds. Change button color, border color, mouse roll off color, mouse rollover color, font color and font attributes. Unbelievable!
